We will get a sneak peek of the project our featured artist is currently working on. The campaign will be launched on the first quarter of 2016. Read on and enjoy!

I can’t really say much yet since the project is launching Q1 2016. All I can say is that it brings unspoiled nature and high-standard accommodation together like never before. Surfers, travelers and wanderers will find some amazing experiences here. Waking up to at sunrise and contemplating the most hypnotic sunsets, that’s what this is all about. Obviously with a twist, but we’ll have to wait until 2016 to know exactly how.

The Nomad was born in Barcelona, although it won’t take place there. Andrés Gornés, front man for The Nomad project got in touch after seeing some of my work online. I’ve worked in some other nature/surf-related projects and I very much enjoy the subject myself. I guess that hugely helps when developing this kind of work.

We worked together for nearly a month trying to define the storytelling and identity for the Brand. We did a little look & feel work for the web too.

I always start off everything on my trusted sketchbooks. Regarding software I mainly work with Adobe Illustrator - I like my graphics very clean. But, you know, the usual suspects: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator and Indesign.

I came up with the idea through hard work, I guess. All ideas come to me while I’m at work trying hard to figure things out and this was no different. There’s rarely any Eureka moments for me, just plain hard work writing and sketching. It’s more of a mantra that I end up always repeating it to myself: Hard Work & Patience.

ABOUT BORJA ACOSTA DE VIZCAINO

Borja Acosta de Vizcaíno is a Designer and Illustrator born and raised in the Canary Islands, quite a particular place which definitely has had an influence in the work he does. He has a small studio called BADV Studio in Madrid's lovely neighborhood La Latina from which he focuses on Branding and Illustration projects. He does quite a lot of Branding work - but he enjoys illustration just as much. When he's not working as BADV Studio, he does pretty much everything that he can: animation, web projects, editorial. Mainly as personal projects - he loves learning new stuff. And bikes, he also love bikes. Both, the ones with engines and the ones without. See more of his amazing artworks in Behance and his website.
