Our featured artist today was featured last week for her Food 1 series. This is a part 2 of that featured project. A playful representation of food; transforming it into an amusing concept. Check out these cute arts! Enjoy!

This is my second collection of food related photography that I share on Behance. I just wanted to create pictures that would show the characteristics I see in food. My aim was to share these with anyone and hopefully to put a little smile on their face.

I see food as a little does of daily happiness. I enjoy experimenting with them, looking at them from different perspectives and try to relate the story to how people would see them.

For the props, I use common food items with everyday objects. I pretty much make everything by hand. Once I’ve taken the photos I finalize the images on Photoshop to adjust colors, tones, lighting and/or retouch any unwanted parts.

My advise to fellow artists is to stick with what you love to do, whatever the subject, style, or theme is. Experiment and enjoy your passion.

ABOUT PEECHAYA BURROUGHS

Peechaya Burroughs graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts, majoring in Communication Design from Bangkok University. Prior to that, she studied in a high school concentrating in Art in Bangkok. After spending some time working for various advertising and graphic design agencies in Bangkok, she moved to Australia and took further study in Diploma of Website Production and Management at TAFE Sydney Institute. She then continued to work as a Graphic Designer in Sydney with additional skills in web design. Currently, she is living with her husband and two children. She has developed a special fondness to photography and has created some photographic work which she normally post in her Instagram account.
