Sylvain Sarrailh's "McDonald's Monopoly Concept Art" was a commissioned art for a McDonald's's advertising clip, he worked with the NoBrain agency on the environment concepts. Sylvain's work looks like a scene straight out of the future! See what I'm talking about and enjoy.

The brief was to respect the universe of Monopoly but with more creativity and madness to create a world with the element of this board game. The inspiration with this project, I think would be a mix of the Futurama city (An American animated science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series follows the adventures of a late-20th-century New York City pizza delivery boy, Philip J. Fry, who, after being unwittingly cryogenically frozen for one thousand years, finds employment at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company in the retro-futuristic 31st century. ) and lot of shapes like the Monopoly's tokens.

I'm a child of the eighties, so I love colorful universes. I am very influenced by the Japanese animation backgrounds like the movies of Satoshi Kon or Studio 4°c. The best advice I can give is to try to experiment news techniques everyday to go outside of comfort zones !
